Media kit terms and conditions

PhakamaFolio is a product of Clekzo Studio, Johannesburg, South Africa. In these terms, we and us mean Clekzo Studio. You means the person who creates an account. Contact: info@phakamafolio.co.za.

PhakamaFolio lets you build a media kit with your details, audience numbers and rates, and share it as a link. Starter is free. Own it, Host it and Studio are paid plans with the features listed on the pricing page.

You must be 18 or older. By signing up you confirm that you are. You are responsible for keeping access to the email address you sign in with.

Prices are in South African rand and shown on the pricing page. Payments are processed by PayFast, which shows the trading name Clekzo Studio. Own it is a once-off payment. Host it and Studio are subscriptions that renew until cancelled.

If we change a price, the new price applies to new purchases and to your next renewal after we have told you by email.

Your plan starts as soon as your payment is confirmed. By accepting these terms and paying, you ask us to start your plan straight away. A service that has started with your consent is not covered by the seven-day cooling-off right for online purchases, so we do not refund a payment because you changed your mind or no longer need the plan.

If something we sold you does not work as described, or you were charged in error or twice, email info@phakamafolio.co.za with the date and your account email. We will fix the problem or refund the amount charged in error.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. If the law gives you a right that these terms do not mention, you keep it.

You can cancel Host it or Studio at any time by emailing info@phakamafolio.co.za from your account address. The cancellation takes effect at the start of the following month. You keep your features until then and are not charged again.

If you pay for Host it by the year, you keep it until the end of the year you paid for, and it does not renew. We do not refund the rest of the year. Own it is a once-off purchase and cannot be cancelled.

If you cancel or a payment fails, your kit page stays live at the same link. The footer comes back, the page falls back to the Minimal template and Host it features are locked. Your content is kept, and what you bought with Own it stays yours. Paying again restores everything straight away.

Black November is a 50% price for members of the Hlanganisa Collective network who open PhakamaFolio from inside the network and buy or activate a plan between 1 and 30 November 2026, South African time. It is not available on phakamafolio.co.za directly or after 30 November. While you stay a member it continues on Host it and Studio. If you cancel, a later purchase is at the standard price.

Your kit and everything you put in it belong to you. You give us permission to store it and show it as you instruct, for example on your published page and in exports you request.

You are responsible for your kit being accurate. Only publish audience numbers and rates that are true and that you are allowed to share, and only content you have the right to use.

Do not use PhakamaFolio to publish unlawful, misleading or abusive content, to impersonate someone, or to interfere with the service. We may unpublish a kit or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why by email where we can.

How we handle your personal information is explained in the privacy notice.

We work to keep PhakamaFolio available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business or lost brand deals, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit anything the law does not allow us to limit.

We may update these terms. We will tell you by email about changes that matter, and the date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you keep using a paid plan after a change, the new terms apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
